JOB DESCRIPTION

Title: Service Development Manager

Location: HADD-ADHD Ireland, Carmichael Centre, North Brunswick Street Dublin 7 (post will include some travel)

Hours of Work: 20 hours per week

Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer

Nature of post: Initial one-year contract, with a view to permanent position. 6-month probationary period applies.  Salary €50,000 per annum (pro rata) based on a 40 hour week.HADD-ADHD Ireland is a grass roots charity set up by and for people with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).  HADD has existed for over 30 years, originally established by parents of children with ADHD, as a local family support group.  Over the years, HADD-ADHD Ireland has grown and developed to provide a range of supports and services (e.g., support line, parent training, teacher training, group therapy, psycho-education, etc.) for people affected by ADHD across Ireland.

HADD-ADHD Ireland envisages a future where all individuals affected by ADHD are included, supported, and empowered in all contexts of their lives (e.g. school, work, home, and socially) to participate fully within, benefit from, and contribute meaningfully to Irish society. HADD-ADHD Ireland is the national organisation that will enable this.

HADD-ADHD Ireland’s mission is to make life better for all people affected by ADHD, by raising awareness, knowledge, and understanding of the condition, providing practical services, and by creating a support network of volunteers to underpin these activities.
