"Practical ideas for home and school "

Children with DCD can have difficulties with day to day tasks, which can lead to a loss of confidence. Fewer

opportunities to participate socially can leave your child perhaps with fewer friends. This talk will discuss what are practical ideas for home and school to encourage social skills and confidence as well as considering what you can do as a family to support your child. Children with Dyspraxia have to cope day to day at school and at home. Growing up means moving from 1st to 2nd level as well as passing through adolescence. This talk will cover why children behave the way they do when they are growing up and how to practically manage the important transition stages both at home and at school.
